“Closer cooperation among NATO allies in Greenland and the Arctic strengthens the security of the Alliance and of Europe as a whole. It also complements NATO’s Arctic Sentry mission, launched in February, which enhances the region’s defence and surveillance capabilities,” said Tsahkna.
The Foreign Minister added that close and coordinated cooperation among allies remains the most effective way to strengthen deterrence and defence in the region.
