Today and tomorrow, Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will be on a visit to the Middle East. Today he will meet with the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely and the Speaker of the Parliament Yuli-Yoel Edelstein in Jerusalem.


Main topics of the meetings will include the Middle East peace process, EU-Israel relations and stronger cooperation between Israel and Estonia.

Tomorrow, the Foreign Minister will be in Ramallah where he will meet with the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Rami Hamdallah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Riad Malki and the Minister of Information Technology Allam Mousa.

They will discuss the Middle East peace process and Estonia’s contribution to the development of Palestinian Authority through e-governance and cyber defence projects.
