Estonia strongly condemns the launch of a ballistic missile by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on February 7th following a recent nuclear test. These illegal actions seriously violate UN Security Council resolutions prohibiting such activities, thus threatening regional, as well as global security, and raising tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

Estonia urges the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to stop their illegal nuclear and missile programmes and to return to the Six Party Talks.
