Today an annual conference of the Heads of the Estonian Foreign Representations started in Tallinn. During the 3-day conference Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand, Heads of the Estonian Foreign Representations and administration of the ministry will discuss the situation in Estonia and in the world and new developments in the foreign policy.
The main topics of the conference are the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the UK EU-referendum, the future of the EU, Estonian candidacy to the UN Security Council, and IT and cybersecurity issues.
Heads of the Estonian Foreign Representations will meet with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas and member of the Riigikogu Foreign Affairs and European Union Affairs Committee. Meeting with the representatives of Nordica and visiting the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence and the Information System Authority is also on the agenda.
