Today, 7 September Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand as the Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe chairs a meeting of the Committee of Ministers’ Deputies in Strasbourg where the topic under discussion is Turkey.
In addition to Estonia’s and Turkey’s Foreign Affairs Ministers, ministers from other Council of Europe’s member states will participate in the meeting.
Foreign Minister Kaljurand also plans to meet with the President of the European Court of Human Rights Guido Raimondi.
Estonia is the Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe from 18 May until 22 November.
