Estonia starts issuing Schengen Visas on behalf of Latvia in Australia

As of April 1, 2013 Estonia starts processing Schengen visas on behalf of Latvia in Australia at General Consulate of Estonia in Sydney. Additionally Estonia represents also Lithuania in Sydney in issuing Schengen visas.

Latvia represents Estonia in issuing Schengen visas in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

At the moment Estonia represents 6 other Schengen member states in issuing Schengen visas in Australia (Sydney), Belarus (Minsk), Georgia (Tbilisi) and Russia (Pskov). Latvia will be represented as of April 1, 2013.  

Overall Estonia has concluded representation agreements with 17 Schengen member states that issue Schengen visas on behalf of Estonia. Currently Estonia is represented  in a total of 92 destinations.

Applications for short-term visas may be submitted to the representations of Schengen member states representing Estonia. In order to apply for a long-term visa it is still necessary to contact the nearest Estonian representation that is handling visa applications: http://www.vm.ee/?q=en/node/13884
