Tallinn Airport Passenger Number Up 37 Percent On Year in October

Estonia's Tallinn Airport served 180 100 passengers in October, 37% more than in the same month last year. Compared with September the number of passengers contracted 2.8%, figures released by the airport company show. In October the number of passengers on international flights totalled 177 947, 37.6% more than in the same month in 2010.
Overall during the first ten months of the year the number of passengers was 1 617 866; the rate of growth compared with the same period last year was 38%.
During the month 2 140 tons of goods passed through Tallinn airport, almost double the amount handled in October 2010. In the ten months a total of 14 889 tons of goods passed through the airport, 48.5% more than in the same period last year.
The number of flights was 3 678, 26% greater than last October. The number of flights served in ten months was 33 771, marking an increase of 17.8%.
